In-Person Portrait Course – Summer Seminar
Join Marion for an immersive 5-day Portrait Seminar, where you'll develop your portrait painting skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Throughout the course, you'll complete two portraits: a group/class portrait and ONE head-and-shoulders portrait of your choice (subject to approval for quality).
Over five days, you’ll gain a solid foundation in portrait painting, covering everything from transferring your drawing and underpainting to colour mixing and refining details that bring your portrait to life. This is an intensive course designed to help you achieve the best possible results, so choosing a high-quality reference image is highly recommended.
To ensure a smooth process, please email your chosen portrait photograph to marion@mazartstudio.com no later than two weeks before the course, so that we can provide your tracing outline & personalised swatch sheets for colour-mixing purposes. Please note there are ONLY 5 Places available on this course.
